Meet Kim Rhodarmer
-
Kim Rhodarmer, a resident of Mint Hill since 2001, is the Founder and Executive Director of Servant’s Heart of Mint Hill – Assistance Programs and Community Boutique.
Kim has undergraduate degrees in Social Work and Behavioral Science. Postgraduate work consists of a Master of Criminal Justice, NC School Social Work License (NC State), and Certification in Essential Business for Nonprofit Organizations (Wake Forest University). Kim’s work experience includes case management of physically and sexually abused children (ages 5 – 17) and a Juvenile Court Counselor in Lexington County, SC, and Mecklenburg County, NC, where she developed and successfully implemented a program for status offenders.
For 13 years, she worked as a School Social Worker for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools at Crown Point and Winterfield Elementary Schools. She was named the 2008-09 Exemplary Employee award. Kim served as Executive Director of Matthews HELP Center March 2009 – 2014 and taught in the School of Social Work at the University of North Carolina Charlotte in 2015.
Servant’s Heart was incorporated in May 2016 and opened its doors four months later on September 1st.

Meet Amy Goodman

Amy served as a volunteer at Servant’s Heart over the past 5 years and joined our staff November 2024. She appreciates being involved in meaningful work, and therefore, couldn’t be happier to be our Business Manager.
After a career where she honed her business acumen by exceeding customer expectations, she shares her depth of experience, knowledge and focus with us. From Area Sales and Marketing Director with a leader in the hospitality industry, to growing her own real estate business in Northern Virginia, to assisting senior citizens and their families as they navigate the journey for healthy, affordable care, Amy’s skills and compassion for others has led her to this position. Staying involved and productive is in her DNA, so when she’s not answering your phone calls, she’s managing the daily operations of Servant’s Heart for our valued donors, volunteers and staff members.

Business Manager
Meet Rochelle Williams
-
Rochelle Williams joined our staff as Social Worker February 2020. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (Cum Laude) in Social Work with a minor in Criminal Justice at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, lowa. Rochelle is a member of Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social Work.
Rochelle's work experiences span over 20 years in human services, social welfare, and public relations including providing case management services to diverse populations, impoverished families, individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities and a Permanency Specialist for children in living in foster care.
She has served on the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center Staff Advisory Board (2006- 2007) and Buena Vista County Partnering in Communities Committee/Drug Endangered Children Program (2006 - 2008). In 2008, Rochelle successfully co-developed and organized a safe house in Storm Lake, IA, for children removed from methamphetamine homes. Currently, she serves one the board of Beloved Community Church in Charlotte, NC.
Rochelle's compassion for others is demonstrated through her enthusiasm and commitment to providing quality service to everyone who walks through the doors of Servant's Heart of Mint Hill.

Social Worker
Meet Teronica McLean
-
Teronica McLean, a resident of Mint Hill since 2022, joined our staff October 2023.
Teronica has an undergraduate and Master degree in Business Administration (Pfeiffer University). Teronica brings 25 years of devoted experience in human services. She held various positions while serving the community of Mecklenburg County. Early in her career she worked as a Social Work Assistant for Youth and Family Services. This role helped her develop her devotion to helping impoverished and underserved clients in our community. Teronica also served in various leadership roles within social services.
Teronica currently serves as a Social Work Assistant for Servant’s Heart of Mint Hill. She is devoted to both our clients and our volunteers. She loves assisting clients make their personal selections in our Emergency Food Pantry and/or NonFood Pantry. She also enjoys being a source of encouragement to our client who are seeking financial assistance. Teronica adores working with volunteers as she feels that they are just as dedicated to our clients and their duties as the staff. The one thing that she loves the most about Servant’s Heart of Mint Hill is giving back to the community.

Social Work Assistant
Meet Billie McIntosh
-
Billie McIntosh, a resident of Mint Hill since 2013, is the Manager of Servant’s Heart Community Boutique.
During her time as a stay-at-home mom of 20 years and using her Psychology degree as a foster parent for seven years, she built an international business in soap-making. Billie was the first soap-maker to become a juried member of the New Brunswick Crafts Council in her native country, Canada. Her business experience and attention to analytics made her a perfect candidate for our team.
Billie came to Servant’s Heart in November 2016 as a volunteer and transitioned into the role of Assistant Manager in May 2018. Now as Community Boutique Manager, Billie enjoys interacting with a growing number of volunteers and customers in the Boutique. She understands the immense value our volunteers bring to this organization. It is her desire to make their experience enjoyable and meaningful while strategically increasing sales which, in turn, benefit our community.

Community Boutique Manager
Meet Allison McDonald
-
Allison McDonald is an accomplished professional with a background in service management and a passion for community engagement. As the Community Boutique Assistant Manager for Servant’s Heart of Mint Hill, she is dedicated to creating a meaningful shopping experience for the local community.
With a degree in Food Service Management from Johnson and Wales University, Allison has managed various establishments, including high-volume deli-bakeries and cafeterias. Her leadership abilities shine through when training new volunteers, ensuring excellence in their performance.
Before joining Servant’s Heart, Allison successfully owned and operated a Kona Ice food truck, gaining valuable experience in entrepreneurship and customer service. During her spare time, she cherishes moments with her family and finds solace in the pages of a good book.
Allison’s extensive management experience, combined with her genuine love for community engagement, makes her an asset as the Community Boutique Assistant Manager at Servant’s Heart of Mint Hill. Her dedication to exceptional customer experiences and warm approach contribute to the store’s success in serving the local community.
