Our volunteer staff performs daily tasks specific to operating the Community Boutique as well as helping our Assistance Programs operate successfully.  Make a difference in your community today by becoming a volunteer!

                                                                               


Servant’s Heart Community Boutique

Volunteer Shifts:  

Monday thru Saturday

9:45 AM – 1:30 PM

1:30 PM – 5:00 PM


Volunteers help with:

Donation Receivables – Work mainly outside with donors; must be friendly and helpful.

Sorting and Pricing – Commitment to one shift per week.

Retail Floor – Placing items on display, assisting customers, maintaining dressing room.

Cashier – background check required.

Special Projects:  (a) New merchandise pick-up; (b) Various needs


 Special Projects & Special Interests Volunteers


  Student School Supply Drive

Our Student School Supply Drive provides school supplies for children attending Mint Hill schools so they can start the year prepared for success.  Volunteers sort supplies, fill backbacks, organize a collection of supplies, transport backpacks to school.


 Turkey Tuesday

Our Turkey Tuesday program provides fixings for a complete Thanksgiving dinner to qualified Mint Hill families.  Volunteers call clients to remind them when to pick up and distribute groceries to clients at our location the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.


 Christmas Assistance

Volunteers sort and organize toys for display; call clients to remind them of appointment time; assist clients with their “shopping” experience.
